Mr. Barry J. Palmer, President of Lions Clubs International met CBN and pledged to take up development work worth Rs. 500 Crore in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Lions Clubs’ primary focus will be on building ‘Smart Villages’ and improving healthcare facilities in hospitals. They will also undertake highway safety programmes along the 40,000 kms. of roads in the State.
