Why start-ups Fail?

What is the meaning of start-ups ?
- Start-up is the concept where 9 out of 10 fail
- Excellent idea + Passionate Founder + Extraordinary future prospects = Fail
- Everyone trying their best = Result fail
Is this the right definition ?
Definitely ' Not '
But unfortunately in most cases it's the reality
I tried to figured out the major cause it as follows
1) Bad Marketing
Marketing strategy is very important for penetration of products, now a days I am feeling that Mr. Philip kotlar personally tells the startup people to offer huge discount & offer. Without it they can't cater customer. Today if a person want to buy napkin he go online & try to find out if there is any discount available.
Yes promotional offer is important but first make sure your Financial allows you.
2) Wrong understanding of business -
Value creation is a most important factor in any business, What is the ultimate goal of value creation,
A) Acquiring a customer with huge discount.
B) Recruiting highly educated incapable people for showing high growth.
C) Opening unnecessary branch offices for showing faster expansion
Or aim at a long term growth with the help of proper Financial management
3) Absence of team spirit -
Employee are the strength of any organizations but now a days young professional feel Start-up are bridge high package with designation.
4) Negligence of Financial -
Adequate management of financials are the most important aspect of value creation but as told by earlier people follow the trend, huge discount, higher number of employee, unnecessary branches contribute towards the higher operating costs. Higher Expense Lower Income equation become less attractive to investor results. Start-up face cash crunch
Which is the problem faced by almost 90% Start-ups
5) Wrong execution of planning -
Excellent idea + Extraordinary future prospects goes wrong when it executed by wrong way
Mainly the attitude & Vision are the piller are success who managed it properly get rewarded

Kolkata Knight Riders Cheer leaders crying on their team loss to Sun Risers Hyderabad

Kolkata (KKR) Cheer leaders seen crying on Kolkata Knight Riders loss to Sun Risers Hyderabad in IPL 9 Play off match .
Man they are foreigners, job is to cheer the audience when their team do well at wicket or hitting ball over boundary ... Some groups protested them and threaten them . It did not stop them loving this team. Though they may come for money but their tears are more valuable than the money they get. They are the real fans of the team . People may watch you flaunt on stage and thought of disgusting. But you girls stole my heart... I have seen your love compassion on your team. Respects my dear cheer leaders . Though I don't know any of your names.
So far I didn't see such scene ...

Here is the Match Result:
This is an eliminator match
Kolkata Knight Riders won the Toss and elected to Bowl first

Walk for Water

Save Water, Save Life

  • Don’t keep the water running while you are brushing your teeth or shaving.
  • Take shorter showers, better use bucket and mug.
  • Fix the dripping faucet.
  • Install water saving shower head that restricts the flow of water per minute.
  • Do not let water run while washing hands and scrubbing the utensils. Turn the water off while soaping and turn it again to rinse.
  • Never use the toilet as a trash can, to dispose bugs, cigarette butts, or other items. Unnecessary  flushing wastes water and places burden on sewage treatment plants and septic tanks.
  • Always wash a full load when using the washing machine. This saves water. Less than a full load wastes water.
  • Keep Conservation in mind while working in kitchen. Small water saving will do wonders over a period of time.
Dr. A P J ABDUL KALAM, ON THE FUTURE OF EARTH AND IMPORTANCE OF SAVING WATER.
This includes views of former president on water crisis, need for the water conservation, future wars about water, water testing, and special initiative needed to improve quality of drinking water. Dr. Kalam’s last lecture’s title was “ creating a livable planet earth”and now he is no more but still there in the hearts of the million people through his incredible work and achievements, through his ever lasting thoughts which he portrayed in quotes, motivational speeches and his books, etc. He has got the beautiful knack of engaging with public on the various subjects. .In the context with water, all his followers over the years through media channels will remember his point of view on the river interlinking project, future water wars, generating awareness about water crisis amongst youth, also, need for the safe and pure drinking water. He has also generated awareness about the importance of rivers by a beautiful poem “Our mission is water “.
“It has become important for the country to implement a vision to develop network rivers and connect water reservoirs. Linking of main rivers, including Ganges, Krishna, Brahmaputra and Cauvery can help create surplus water according to Dr.Kalam. He was blessed with the vision to predict things most accurately even much before, any one would realize. He stressed a lot on the need for interlinking rivers and water bodies to solve the problem of water shortage. He said in one of the public event, “Future wars will be over water”.
Kalam Sir while addressing the inaugural function of Exposition on Water Conservation held in Coimbatore encouraged youngsters to be aware of water conservation techniques to avoid grave water crisis in future. He also mentioned that unless the country’s citizens learns about water’s judicious use, we will be in for more problems. He hailed the Siruthuli experiment undertaken in Coimbatore for restoration of the lost water reservoirs. He intended to make each user of the water-resources to become a stakeholder in its maintenance. For these things to happen, he pleaded for “attitudinal change” and “partnerships” of various kinds. Also, “In quest of water, there may arise differences among the neighboring nations such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan; hence we need to create awareness among the youngsters on the need to conserve water,” Kalam said.
Kalam understood the importance of water to our future and did not hesitate to call out large corporations involved in the ‘water industry’. The missile man also made a presentation on the need of water conservation and current water crisis due to over extraction of water resources and their contamination. This presentation is still available on internet, gaining lot of popularity online. In his presentation he mentioned that “I remember there were SAVE WATER warnings on outside posters, radio and TV, but nobody paid attention. We thought that water was to last forever. Now, all the rivers, lakes, dams and underground water beds are either dry or contaminated.
So much he gave, so much knowledge he shared therefore in our heart he always be there. Rest in peace, Dr. Kalam — missile man, people’s president and we are blessed to witness leader like him in present.

Swami Vivekanand‬a

This is a Masterpiece from ‪‎Swami Vivekananda
Once a few Englishmen were discussing about Indians & said, "Indians cannot speak English."

On hearing this, Swami Vivekananda asked them, "Can you tell a sentence in which the word 'BECAUSE' comes three times one after the other continuously?"

Englishmen could not answer.

Swami Vivekananda replied, "You can never start a sentence with because, because because is a conjunction".

Inner Ego sometimes Misjudges a PERSON

How our inner Ego sometimes misjudges a PERSON ?
A woman in a faded grey dress and her husband, dressed in a home-spun suit walked in timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office. The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't even deserve to be in Harvard.
"We want to see the President "the man said softly.
"He'll be busy all day "the secretary snapped.
"We'll wait" the woman replied.
For hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away. They didn't and the secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president..
"Maybe if you see them for a few minutes, they'll leave" she said to him. The President, stern faced and with dignity, strutted toward the couple.
The woman told him "We had a son who attended Harvard for one year. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus."
The president wasn't touched....He was shocked. "Madam "he said, gruffly, " we can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery."
"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly” We don't want to erect a statue. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard."
The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, and then exclaimed, "A building! Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical buildings here at Harvard."
For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. Maybe he could get rid of them now. The lady turned to her husband and said quietly, "Is that all it costs to start a university ? Why don't we just start our own?"
Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and bewilderment. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California where they established the University that bears their name: Stanford University, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.
Most of the time we judge people by their outer appearance, which can be misleading. And in this impression, we tend to treat people badly by thinking they can do nothing for us. Thus we tend to lose our potential good friends, employees or customers.
In our Life, we seldom get people with whom we want to share & grow our thought process. But because of our inner EGO we miss them foreve

Both GOOD And EVIL Live Within

Don't argue don't fight, just think once..
got this from THE ULTIMATE QUOTES smile emoticon
There are four yugas widely accepted in Hinduism. They are :
1.Satya yug
2.Treta yug (Ramayana)
3.Dwapara yug(Mahabharata)
4.Kal yug(Present)
In satya yug, the fight was between two worlds.( Devalok and Asura lok) Asura lok being the evil, was a different WORLD.
In Treta yug, the fight was between Rama and Ravana. Both rulers from two different COUNTRIES.
In dwapara yug, the fight was between Pandavas and Kauravas. Both good and evil from the SAME FAMILY.
Kindly note how the evil is getting closer. For example, from a DIFFERENT WORLD to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY to the SAME FAMILY.

Now, know where is the evil in Kal yug?
It is inside us. Both GOOD AND EVIL LIVE WITHIN. The battle is within us. Who will we give victory to our inner goodness or the evil within??
Think, identify and fight the one ...

A Heart Touching Story - Wife and Husband

Worth Reading Story
A Wife:
My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature, and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders. Three years of courtship and now, 2 years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it.
The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restles...sness. I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings, I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband, is my complete opposite, his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about love. One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.
“Why?” he asked, shocked. “I am tired, there are no reasons for everything in the world!” I answered. He kept silent the whole night, seems to be in deep thought with a lighted cigarette at all times.
My feeling of disappointment only increased, here was a man who cannot even express his predicament, what else can I hope from him? and finally he asked me:” What can I do to change your mind?” Somebody said it right, it’s hard to change a person’s personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him.
Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered : “Here is the question, if you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind, Let’s say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death, will you do it for me?” He said :” I will give you your answer tomorrow….” My hopes just sank by listening to his response.
I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting, underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes….
My dear, “I would not pick that flower for you, but please allow me to explain the reasons further..” This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading. “When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs, 'n you cry in front of the screen, I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs.
You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you. You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city, I have to save my eyes to show you the way.
You always have the cramps whenever your “good friend” approaches every month, I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in your tummy. You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes 'n stories to cure your boredom.
You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes, I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails,'n help to remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine 'n the beautiful sand… and tell you the colour of flowers, just like the color of the glow on your young face…
Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do… I could not pick that flower yet, 'n die.. ” My tears fell on the letter, 'n blurred the ink of his handwriting… 'n as I continue on reading…
“Now, that you have finished reading my answer, if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread 'n fresh milk…
I rush to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle 'n loaf of bread…. Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, 'n I have decided to leave the flower alone…
That’s life, and love. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace 'n dullness.
Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never been a model, it could be the most dull 'n boring form.. . flowers, 'n romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands… and that’s our life… Love, not words win arguments… !

Story of St. Valentine

Valentine's Day Story

"The story of Valentine's Day begins in the third century with an oppressive Roman emperor and a humble Christian Martyr. The emperor was Claudius II. The Christian was Valentinus.
Claudius had ordered all Romans to worship twelve gods, and had made it a crime punishable by death to associate with Christians. But Valentinus was dedicated to the ideals of Christ; not even the threat of death could keep him from practicing his beliefs. He was arrested and imprisoned.
During the last weeks of Valentinus's life a remarkable thing happened. Seeing that he was a man of learning, the jailer asked whether his daughter, Julia, might be brought to Valentinus for lessons. She had been blind since birth. Julia was a pretty young girl with a quick mind. Valentinus read stories of Rome's history to her. He described the world of nature to her. He taught her arithmetic and told her about God. She saw the world through his eyes, trusted his wisdom, and found comfort in his quiet strength.
"Valentinus, does God really hear our prayers?" Julia asked one day.
"Yes, my child, He hears each one."
"Do you know what I pray for every morning and every night? I pray that I might see. I want so much to see everything you've told me about!"
"God does what is best for us if we will only believe in Him," Valentinus said.
"Oh, Valentinus, I do believe! I do!" She knelt and grasped his hand.
They sat quietly together, each praying. Suddenly there was a brilliant light in the prison cell. Radiant, Julia screamed, "Valentinus, I can see! I can see!"
"Praise be to God!" Valentinus exclaimed, and he knelt in prayer.
On the eve of his death Valentinus wrote a last note to Julia, urging her to stay close to God. He signed it, "From your Valentine." His sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D., near a gate that was later named Porta Valentini in his memory. He was buried at what is now the Church of Praxedes in Rome. It is said that Julia planted a pink-blossomed almond tree near his grave. Today, the almond tree remains a symbol of abiding love and friendship. On each February 14, Saint Valentine's Day, messages of affection, love, and devotion are exchanged around the world."

Annie Besant - Hinduism

After a study of some 40 years and more of the great religions of the world, I find no one so perfect , none so scientific, none so philosophical and none so spiritual that the great religion known by the name of Hinduism. Make no mistake, without Hinduism, India has no future. Hinduism is the soil in to which India's roots are stuck and torn out of that she will inevitably wither as a tree torn out from its place. And if Hindus do not maintain Hinduism who shall save it? If India's own children do not cling to her faith who shall guard it. India alone can save India and India and Hinduism are one. "

Accept Everything -Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

"When I was a kid, my Mom cooked food for us.
One night in particular when my mom had made dinner after a long hard day's work, Mom placed a plate of subzi and extremely burnt roti in front of my Dad.
I was waiting to see if anyone noticed the burnt roti.
But Dad just ate his roti and asked me how was my day was at school.
I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember I heard Mom apologizing to Dad for the burnt roti when she noticed.
And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I enjoyed what you made."

Later that night, when I went to say good night to my father, I asked him if he really liked his roti burnt.
He wrapped me in his arms & said:
"Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she was really tired.
And besides... A burnt roti never hurts anyone but unpleasant words do!"
He continued:
"You know son - life is full of imperfect things...& imperfect people...including me and we all make mistakes."

What I've learnt is :
Accept Each Others Faults and imperfections & Choose To Celebrate the Relationships we have.

"Love the people who treat you right & have compassion for the ones who don't."

These animals giving a big lesson to our human society, where human keep forgetting humanism and fight with each other. Human should learn something from these lovely animals.
