Eminent cartoonist RK Laxman passed away


Eminent Cartoonist RK Laxman passed away at 94. Laxman, who created "The Common Man", had suffered multiple organ failure and his condition was "critical", family sources said.
The 95-year-old Laxman, a current employee of The Times Of India, was admitted to a private nursing home in Friday due to some kidney and chest-related issues.
He is best known for his daily cartoon series by the name "common man" depicting the woes of common man in daily life, which was published for over 50 years on a daily basis. The world lost a gem of a cartoonist..
