What is Philosophy?

Philosophy is made up of two Greek words, namely 'Philo' and 'Sophia'.
'Philo' means 'Love' and 'Sophia' means 'Wisdom'.
Hence, Literally, Philosophy is the love of Wisdom.
That is what it meant to the paleo Hellenistic society.
Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle were part of the paleo Hellenistic society.
Therefore, that is what it meant to Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.
